First Blog Ever for Me

I have come to the conclusion that writing a blog is like talking on the radio.  You do what you do but never know if anyone is on the other side of the communication.  So assuming this will be read.......

This blog spot will be dedicated to veterinary homeopathy.  There will be occasional case studies, some pertinent materia medica, and snippets of theory and philosophy for those interested in the art and science of veterinary homeopathy.

As I have a more personal reason to embrace homeopathy since February, 2011, I will also share my thoughts as my own liver cancer is being treated with homeopathy.

And I also reserve the right to ramble onto other topics as the muses direct.

I promise additions to this blog will be made regularly on a sporadic basis as time and inclination permit.

Enjoy

  3. Glen it's your first blog to write and my first blog to read. I can't wait to read what you have to say. I am a dabbler in the art myself and I am excited to hear from a real expert. Leigh

  6. I had successfully supplemented my own chemotherapy with non-Western treatment methods, including dietary changes, magnet therapy, imaging techniques, meditation, and channeling positive energy. Yet when my dog,a golden retriever and chow mix, the only blonde I ever loved, got sicker and sicker, taking so much prednisone that he may as well have been on a mediport drip,I called Glen, having known him for at least a year or two, fully expecting, and wanting, the quick fix, the biochemical solution administered via capsules. Glen's response blew me away, and, yes, believe it or not, initially left me at a loss for words. Now, to fully understand how patient and understanding Glen was, you have to know that people who have known me find that I tend to be a wee bit hyper at times. When I called Glen, I was frantic, convinced that if he, so smart as I knew he was, did not have the answer, there was none, and Daxter was not going to make it much longer. Glen insisted that I shift focus, and consider that Daxter was an animal, and more particularly, a canine. He outlined a treatment regimen that he believed would restore my canine's immune system, and his overall good health. Now, I did and do have a few humans in my life, but any human who is honest will acknowledge that if he or she has ever had this thing we currently call unconditional love, it has come from a loyal, non-judgmental , and sorry, Glen, for the word choice, pet. So I was somewhat apprehensive; after all, this was for Daxter, not me. Should I take this risk? Well, because I had known Glen, and knew him long before he blazed trails in alternative medical approaches for non-humans, and because, very frankly, he did make a whole lot of sense, I gave his approach a trial run. I saw improvement almost immediately, and stayed with the program, avoiding processed foods, and essentially feeding my animal, my friend, what he,and all canines, needed, in the manner he needed it. He lived several more years, very good years, with energy and vitality, and yes, love, ordinary,self-centered love from me, and unconditional love from him.Thank you on behalf of my friend, thank you taking the time to listen and explain, so even I could and would get with the program.
